What is fair trade chocolate? Bennetto chocolate is sourced from a fair-trade farmers’ cooperative in the Amazon jungle of Peru. The cooperative offers opportunities for women, supports educational efforts and aids in Amazon reforestation.

Bennetto started in 2010 by Lucy Bennetto after she became interested in how cacao beans were grown and travelled to the Dominican Republic. At her kitchen table, she began refining chocolate herself. Today, all Bennetto products are made using a simple recipe and wholesome ingredients such cocoa beans, raw cane sugar, cocoa butter and Madagascar vanilla beans.
